Description of Guest House
Smanla Guest House is situated around 15 minutes walk from the center of Leh. It is located in the main bazaar followed by the road near to Chanspa and Shanti Stupa for around 200 metres.
The Guest House provides Tibetan Medicine Tour in Ladakh. Ladakh is a most distant area of India, affected high altitude desert that lies on the western edge of the Tibetan Plateau. An enchanted land, by the Buddhist prayers. Most of the people are related to the Tibetians and monitor Tantric Buddhism. The trip will be one of the most arousing stay with one of the utmost traditional healers from this ancient kingdom and be directed to remote mountains, holy caves, monasteries.
The price of the 16 day trip will be nearby £1000 counting all meals, conveyance in Ladakh, lodging and guides. The flight charges will be about £500 from Europe.
Tsewang Smanla runs this Guest House. He is a Ladakhi Amchi. Amchi is a trained Tibetan medical doctor. Yuthog Foundation was founded in1982 and has continuously worked to develop amchi practice in Ladakh. In guest house there is a small clinic where tourists can consult to Amchi Tsewang even they host seminars and workshops on Tibetan medicine for promoting main aspect of Ladakhi culture.
