English to Ladakhi Translation Ladakhi language also known as Bhoti and it is the prime language in the Leh region of Ladakh. Actually Ladakhi is a Tibetic language, even if it is not equally comprehensible with Standard Tibetan.
Around 100,000 peoples speak Ladakhi Language in India and possibly 12,000 People in the independent Tibet Region of China, predominantly in the Qiangtang region. There are number of Ladakhi vernaculars we can see in ladakh like Ladakhi which is also called as Lehskat, Shamskat which is spoken to the northwest of Leh Region.
Stotskat is one of the Ladakhi dialects which is spoken to the southeast in the Indus valley; and Nubra Valley. There is diversity in Ladakhi Language spoken in Upper Ladakh and Zanskar.
