Namshang La is a high altitude pass at an elevation of 4,960 meters beyond the sea level at 16,273 feet.
Namshang Pass is located in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir. Namshang Pass is situated in the east of north India ladakh and is connected through Indus-Valley
in the north with high plateau of Tsomoriri.
Namshang La Pass Ladakh as an enormous lake close to the border to Tibet at an altitude of 4,800 meters.
On the Namshang La Pass maximum number of Buddhist prayer flags are found.
While climbing the Namshang La Pass Ladakh is terrible and there is very less amount
of oxygen that can examine the people. The actual height of the Namshang Pass was checked by a meteorological altimeter that confirms the height of 4,800 meters.
The roads are quite even black tar and it connects to Mahe and Tso Moriri Lake.
