Pensi La Pass Ladakh is about 25 kilometers from Rangdum Monastery. The Drang Drung Glacier to the eastern flank of Pensi La is the source of Stod or Doda River which flows into the Padum Valley, and joins with Tsarap Chu to form the enormous Zanskar River. Pensi la is a highest mountain pass.

Pensi La Pass Ladakh roads are traversed by a metaled road. Heavy snowfall, Slides causes block and the road can be dangerous and risky. There will be traffic in the Pensi La Pass.
